Om Beach Resort, Om beach in Gorkana

Om beach at the coastal town Gorkana is one of the sacred Shiva shrine in India. other than sand and sea, Om beach also presents a wonderful Hindu religious life.

The craggy bay was named in accordance with the Hindu symbol for unity and peace. Besides a lot of coconut trees and green hills, Gorkana is rich with old world charm such as bare-chested Brahmin priests and people with chillum-smoking.

OM Beach, thirty-minutes further south. The beach got its name because it is shaped like the auspicious Om sign. There are some really basic huts and some chai shops to eat at. Many Indian pilgrims visit OM Beach on Sundays by bus and holidays to see the sites. Best to come here on the weekdays
