About Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA)

The public sector transportation planning body and mass transit service provider for Orange County, California is the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA). OCTA was commenced in 1991 with the consolidation of seven detach transportation agencies. The OCTA oversees Metrolink commuter rail service in Orange County in collaboration with the Southern California Regional Rail Authority.
