JetBlue Introduces Snack Packs for a Fee

JetBlue has joined domestic carriers selling food onboard. Five new snack boxes, priced at $6 each, are being sold on A320 flights longer than 3 hours and 45 minutes.

The carrier announced the snacks on its blog, under the headline "Wake Up, Beef Up, Power Up, Shape Up or Cheer Up," as well as on Twitter.

It turns out the "Ups" are the names of the snack packs, which range from a "Wake Up" box with a croissant, jam, almond butter, Cheez-Its, a fruit cup and milk to a "Beef Up" box with salami, crackers, two cheese spreads, bagel chips and fruit crisps. There's even a Kosher option.
