It might be originated from shepherd’s games in Scottish highland but golf is far more developed to become a prestigious sport game. It is no longer a game for a shepherd. Gold is played both for fun and for professional competition. Even golf already becomes a game for upperclassmen, far from its origin.
Today, golf is an upper class games. It would need huge cost to afford golf equipments and golf club memberships.
