"Cycle for Your Supper" at Denmark's Crowne Plaza

A Crowne Plaza in Denmark has installed two exercise bikes for guests to hop on and generate electricity. Pedal pushers who go the distance will receive a free meal at the hotel's restaurant.

Reuters reported the 366-room Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers, just 15 minutes from the capital and five minutes from Scandinavia's main airport, will allow guests to race against the hotel's solar panel system starting in June. Guests will be able to monitor how much electricity they are producing via screens mounted on the handlebars.
