Ninai is a very striking fall in Gujarat with nice, wonderful green beauty around it. It is high over 30 feet (9.1 m). The perfect time to visit this most beautiful place is after the monsoon season. Ninai Waterfall is situated in Dediapada's striking forest ranges beside Shoolpaneshwar wildlife sanctuary. It is located of State Highway 163 of Gujarat, around 35 kms from Dediapada and about 143 kms from Surat. Bharuch is nearby railway station of Ninai waterfall that is around 125 kms away, while the nearest airport is Vadodara and Surat . There is plan for promoting the Sardar Sarovar dam and its surrounding tribal region as possible eco-tourism hotspots, including Ninaighat waterfalls.
Jamjir or Zamzeer waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Gujarat also known to be one of the biggest waterfalls in Gujarat. It is the only waterfall in Gir forest. All sides of this waterfall are surrounded by greenery. It is situated on foot of Shingoda River near Jamvala village (Gir Forest), Junagadh, and just 20 kms away from Kodinar City. It is heighted about 30 feet to 40 feet up from the ground. You can enjoy Zamzeer Waterfalls at the fullest, if you plan your visit in Monsoon (between August and October). Actually during August to October, the monsoon is in full force means the water flow is notably strong and the temperature is mild. Tourist are prohibited to access to the bottom of the pool for safety reason. Train or flight, you can use any means of transport to reach Jamjir or Zamzeer waterfall. Diu Airport is the nearest airport to Kodinar that is 44 KMs from Jamjir Waterfall. And the nearest railway stations are Veraval Train Station, Junagadh Railway Station and Delvada Railway Station. It is situated deep inside the Shoolpaneshwar Wildlife Sanctuary, which is home to a gamut of flora & fauna.
Girai dhodh Falls
Girai dhodh Falls is nice place to visit on the way to Saputara and well visited by tourist from Gujarat. This would be your nice picnic spot 50 kms from Saputara on the Surat Road. And actually, Girai dhodh Falls is located about 51 km away from Waghai, 164 km from Surat, 250 km from Mumbai, 309 km from Vadodara and 409 km from Ahmedabad. If you want to enjoy the waterfall at its fullest, go only after the rains around, nearly in month of August. The view is really beautiful even in the afternoon. Roads are really great and it creates a scenic drive rarely found in India. It is a 30 m natural drop into the Ambica River. The height of these falls is very less, however the beauty is divided in two parts as well as the volume of the water flow is so high that it does make a thunder.
If you prefer by road, you can have easy option of State Transport buses and private luxury coaches from Waghai and Ahmedabad. If you prefer a private car, National Highway might be faster but you will miss a stunning scenic drive that available at state highway. Optionally, the nearest railway station is available in Waghai – via Billimora-Waghai. Billimora is the more convenient rail head from Gujarat via Surat or Ahmedabad or even from Mumbai. For your fastest option, the nearest airport is Vadodara, 309 km away.
A waterfall becomes essential if you come to the very hot city of vadodara. Hathni fall would be your best place to hangout with family members, near from Vadodara. It takes about an hour and a half drive from Vadodara, as it is straight 80 km away from Vadoara enroute Jambughoda sanctuary from Pawagadh. It is a beautiful place to visit during the monsoons, with cascading waterfalls, a lovely scenic drive and lush greenery around but with many stones and pebbles strewed. Here, you are allowed to We had a great time under the water falls. You can have really enjoyable straight drive, apart from 15 to 20 km, which may not bother you so much. As it is bit far from the main road, you should be prepared for a bit of struggle if you are coming on a holiday/weekend.
Hathini falls can be reached by travelling from vadodara Gujarat to halol by toll road.and, vadodra is connected by good motorable roads to all places in India. Even, Vadodra is a major railhead connecting several important cities in India. Also, Vadodra airport is connected by all major cities like Mumbai, Delhi, etc. The nearby area from the sanctuary to the waterfalls plays host to a large variety of trees and flowers, which look extremely beautiful especially in the rainy season. The entire route is well surrounded by the valley of flowers, green meadows and many varied species of birds flock the region as well. The hilly terrain boasts of quartz stone hills. Trekking, bike rides and hanuman temple Darshan add more fun to your trip.
From Ahmedabad, Zanzari waterfall is one day get away. One thing for sure is that this is not a permanent waterfall, however it is in full flow only during monsoons. The water during and right away after the monsoons is double-crossing also the sound of water sloshing down the falls can be heard from far away. The Zanzari Waterfalls is also famous as Jhanjhari Waterfalls. It is situated near the banks of river Vatrak in Dehgam, 75-80 km from Ahmadabad, hardly at 1 and a half or 2 hours drive away. It is counted as one of the popular tourist spot around the world. One thing for sure is that visitors have to park vehicle and trek it or take a camel ride in rock area for 3 km from the parking place to reach at waterfall. Note that the pathway is filled with pebbles and rocks and so walking is a bit tricky.
The nearest town is Dehgam about 35 kms from the falls, and Ahmedabad is the nearest airport. The major railway station is in Ahmedabad while there is a smaller station at Dehgam. If you prefer by road, there are many roads connecting the waterfalls to the nearest towns. Even, there is bus facility between the Zanzari village to the nearest towns. Hiring vehicle from Ahmedabad is your better option but it is good if you get the guidance from the local person for last 10 km.
