Vauxhall is going to enter in the sub-compact SUV B-segment with its first B-segment car named Mokka. Mokka is a great combination of SUV’s intimidating road presence and dynamic handling of sports hatchback. It has sleek and bold design with smooth curves and a rugged looks. The sculpted sides of the car are complemented by the clean, rounded rear design while the rear spoiler is complemented by air deflectors and aero blades. The length is enough to accommodate five adults in comfort and users can also fold the rear seats for more cargo area. The pre-order of Vauxhall Mokka has been started and it will be delivered in November. The car comes with a starting price of £16,995 and goes up to £23,490.

This car will be accessible in three trims or models such as S, Exclusiv and SE. There are also three engines options (1.6-litre petrol, 1.4-litre petrol and a 1.7-litre diesel) in which 2 are petrol and one is diesel. The1.6L petrol engine (with 5-speed transmission) churns out maximum power of 115hp and a peak torque of 155Nm, 1.4L turbo petrol engine (with six-speed, four-wheel-drive transmission) produces 140hp maximum power and 200Nm of torque while 1.7L CDTI diesel engine (with six-speed manual or automatic, two or four-wheel-drive transmissions) delivers maximum power of 130hp and a torque 300 Nm.

The length and weight of the car are 4.28m and65 kg respectively. Each and every model features Vauxhall's automatic stop/start system which saves fuel and decreases emission. This five-seater car includes great interiors, convenient storage possibilities and amazing safety features. It will be a great competitor of Nissan Juke, Skoda Yeti and Nissan Qashqai. Each trim will have aux-in for your MP3 players, air conditioning, a trip computer and a Descent Control System and cruise control. Mokka sports an optional FlexFix rear bicycle carrier.

The base model comes with 16in wheels, Digital Media Broadcast (DMB) radio capabilities, daytime running lights, switchable Electronic Stability Programme, auxiliary audio input and a multi-function trip computer as standard. The Exclusiv features a USB connection with iPod control, automatic lighting control with high-beam assist, front and rear parking sensors, Bluetooth connectivity, electrochromatic anti-dazzle rear-view mirror, sterling silver effect 18in alloy wheels, dual-zone electronic climate control, a front centre armrest, leather-covered steering wheel, rain-sensitive windscreen wipers and a 230V rear power outlet where as SE model includes midnight silver effect 18in alloy wheels, leather seat facings, electrically heated steering wheel, electrically heated ergonomic sports seats in the front, adaptive forward lighting, bi-xenon headlights with dynamic beam leveling, dark-tinted rear windows and alloy-effect door sill covers.
