Free text messaging!!! Nowadays, many internet service companies provide this facility; it becomes standard right now. Yahoo! Mail and Yahoo! Messenger apps, most of the people may be familiar with this service on mobile. Now Yahoo has launched a new messaging app to its mobile communication suite for Android devices called Yahoo Hub app that comes with a tagline “conversations made easy”. It seems to appear to respond RIM’s Blackberry Messenger app. The key features of the Hub include Privacy, Local and international SMS messages, Instant notifications, Group Messaging, and Message any phone. Hub Android app offers a fast and simple way of sending text messages to other Hub users and creates group conversation for free. With this Beta app, it is easy to switch from private messaging to a group conversation. There are no text messaging fees and messages are sent over Wi-Fi or via 3G data connection. The new app allows users to communicate with people who are not using Hub. It also comes with push notifications feature so that users can receive instantly notified when they have received a new message. Now, the app is available as a free Beta download from the Android market. The Hub is available for Android 2.1 devices and just to users with a US SIM card. To use the app, users must have a Yahoo ID. |
