Windows Movie Maker to DVD, Burn WMM files to DVD

Question: I made a movie for my parents' anniversary with windows movie maker. Is there any possible way to burn it on DVD, so I can watch it on my DVD Player? I have tired to burn it with wmm, however, it didn't work. Any suggestions?

Preparation stage: Export your edited file from Windows Movie Maker
Choose the edited file->click "File"-> select "Save Movie File", then you can go to the "Save Movie Wizard"->choose "My Computer", then follow the Wizard.

Windows Movie Maker export videos as .wmv by default. Of course, you can also doing settings for the output video. For example, choose "DV-AVI" and output file can be saved as .avi.

Tip 2: Don't export file by choosing "Save Project", as the being saved file is MSWMM. What's MSWMM file? MSWMM file contains the movie timeline, transitions, and references to video clips, audio files, and still images. It allows you to return to the movie and make modifications at a later time. So MSWMM file can not be burned to DVD.
