Recently, a team in Germany has launched front-end Keyboardr exclusively for the search engines on Google, Wikipedia and YouTube. Keyboard will display and execute the searches that users type. This is a better interface as compared to traditional type-wait-retype techniques used by most of the search engines.
Moreover, this technique will also navigate the search results with the keyboard which will provide a speedy search option to users.
However, as of now no one is sure if using Google this way is legal or if this technology will grab the users’ attraction. This is because, a typical Google search method has always been regarded as more compute-efficient as compared to searching on every typed letter. The new technique is expected to be helpful for users because it will enable the users to see and refine the search as they go. Lets see how does Keyboardr work.
