Google+ 'Find My Face' facial recognition feature launched

A new facial recognition feature has been unveiled by Google+. The name of the new feature is ‘Find My Face’. This feature is like Facebook’s tagging feature. When the “Find My Face” feature turned on, it finds your face automatically in your friends’ uploaded pictures. Then, it asks your friends for the tagging with an option to accept or reject the tags. Users can remove the added tag any time. It also lets the users to turn the feature on/off in Google+ settings.

Find My Face” feature is a simple way to tag photos of your and your friends. The difference between Facebook’s tagging feature and “Find My Face” feature is that Google+ is an opt-in feature which means users can enable/disable it as per their choice as well as the tool needs the subject of a recommended tag to approve it before it goes public. Google+ always add new features and has millions of users in very short period.
