Firefox 6: Release Date and FTP Download now available

Firefox 6 is available on 13th August 2011, 3 days before its declared release date of August 16th for download through FTP of Mozilla. Firefox 6 is available to download for Windows 7, Mac Lion and Linux through Mozilla FTP Servers. Firefox 6 is released by Mozilla just two months after launching Firefox 5. Firefox comes with some slight changes such as mostly internal changes, domain being highlighted in the address bar, bug fixes, security patches, and performance improvements.

Firefox 6 is featured with an innovative and “fresh visual style in Chrome Gingerbread,” quite faster and loses less RAM and improved image scaling. The Android version and the desktop version of Firefox contain also been modernized with major changes. Firefox 6 is 20% quicker in comparison to its previous version, Firefox 5. At present, Firefox 6 downloads are being provided by Mozilla’s FTP servers.

This time, it’s a fairly snappy browser with the sly fox still keen for more upgrades and updates.
