New iPhone OS 3.0 Release Date & FeaturesThe iPhone OS 3.0 released on Today. Apple VP of iPhone Software, Scott Forstall, announced during the WWDC Keynote that the iPhone OS 3.0 is available on Tuesday, 17th June 2009 at 1:00 pm ET. Apple is also said the new iPhone OS update cost $9.99 in the USA for iPod touch customer.
The new iPhone OS 3.0 is expected to bring by its 100 new features. Recent iPhone owners can download the software from iTunes for free and iPod Touch users can also obtain it. Apple has also packed in various extras, like landscape virtual keyboard for certain apps, in-app purchasing, more extensive parental controls, and a feature for MobileMe customers called Find My Phone. Most of the advance rumor has centered on iPhone 3.0. as the iPhone 3.0 will have the subsequent capabilities with many other things. check online at the apple website it also says june 17th... i dont see a problem with it being released on a wednesday. they wanted to release it before they released the 3gs as a teaser for all the better features on the 3gs so thats exactly what they are doing

Hmm..
In all these post about iphone 3.0 i always see that they say it is going to be released on Tuesday, June 17th.. Does anyone else see a problem with that? June 17th is a wednesday.
