Skype Adds Five-Way Video Calling, Prepares Beta Roll Out

Next week at some point Skype will be unveiling a new public beta that allows for Group Video Calling with up to five people. The beta version will be open to PC users, with a Mac version to follow at a later time this year. Skype plans to bundle the video calling with other features and then three to four months down the road they’ll charge for additional functionalities.

Users of Skype-friendly sets, especially business owners, should find great use for the program once it rolls out among what we assume will be all of Skype’s various programs.
