Global Warming The increase in the average temperature of the Earth's near-surface air and oceans is defined as Global Warming. Due to Global Warming, the Earth is getting hotter, hurricanes like disasters droughts and frequency of floods increases. Causes of Global Warming Temperature on Earth increases due to human activities and natural activities. Human activities like fossil fuel burning, deforestation and greenhouse gas concentration increases Global Warming. Natural activities like solar radiation and volcanoes create most of the warming. One of the most manmade causes is pollution, due to burning of fossils fuel, carbon dioxide gas releases, which is called as greenhouse gas. Mining coals and oil allows escaping methane. Population is another manmade reason, due to more people there increases more demand of food. For getting food, there are more methods of transportation that means more pollution. Some causes of Global Warming
For more information about the causes of Global Warming, see here. Effects of Global Warming Environment and human life both are concerned by the climate change and effect of Global Warming. Due to Global Warming temperature increases, sea level rises and in the Northern Hemisphere, snow cover decreases. The frequencies of some extreme weather events are increase, Ecosystems are seen particularly susceptible to climate change. Future climate change adapt to human systems are seen as being variable in their capacity. Many countries have implemented policies designed to reduce their emissions of greenhouse gases for the risk of large changes in future climate. Some effects of Global Warming are:
