Pagani Huayra: Price & Specs of Batman like Car

Pagani Automobili S.p.A., an Italian manufacturer of sports cars, has manufactured a new project car. This new project car is called the Pagani Huayra. This all-new supercar has replaced its predecessor the legendary Zonda that was launched in 1999. This newly launched car has got its name from a South American warm wind; the “Why-rah” that represents the climax of 7 years hard work by the 57 employees of the company. The project of the car had been started in 2005.

This car is powered by a 6.0-litre, twin-turbo V12 engine that has been modified by AMG. As per the company, this AMG engine accelerates the rear-wheel driven car from standstill position to 100kmph in just 3.3 seconds. It has an impressive top speed of 370kmph. This rear-wheel-drive car is one of the fastest, most advanced and most exclusive supercars of the world. It offers a displacement of 5,980cc along with 700 horsepower and 1,000Nm of torque. The massive torque and power is transferred to the rear wheels through a 7-speed sequential gearbox cross and a dual-disc clutch.

The body of the Pagani Huayra features gull-wing doors made up of carbon titanium. The total weight of this sports car is 1,350 kg. It has an amazing exterior which offers it as a perfect sports car look. Safety features like six airbags, central locking, parking sensors, fog lamp, steering adjustment, traction control, anti lock breaking system, EBD and ESP have been included. Power steering, power window, control button on steering, alloy wheels, driver seat height adjustment, AC with climate control and music system are some of the other features.

Only 20 of these cars will be made this year. The cars will be made at a tiny factory of the company in Modena. The production of the cars will be increased to 40 cars per year from 2013. A Pagani Huayra was spotted in the streets of London for the first time on July 05, 2012. The Huayra has been priced at 840,000 Euros (£666,000) excluding the local taxes.
