Whilst we had previously looked at the Nokia 5530 being a slimmed down version of the Nokia 5800, here we have another phone in the series with even less features. The Nokia 5230 comes without the Wi-Fi capability that was available to both the Nokia 5800 and the Nokia 5530. The camera has also been dumbed down to a 2.0 megapixel one whereas the cameras on both the Nokia 5800 and Nokia 5530 are of the 3.2 megapixel variety. Therefore, the key difference would be the lack of the Wi-Fi connectivity. The Nokia 5230 is about RM 200 less than the Nokia 5800 at current market prices. That is roughly about 20% of the total price and merits fair consideration if you will not be using the Wi-Fi feature. |
