New 2013 Ford Mondeo official Photos

Ford, the American automaker, has officially released the details and photos of their latest car named Ford Mondeo. It is expected that the all new Mondeo will be launched next year in the month of November. The word Mondeo has been derived from a Latin word called Mundus which means the ‘World’. The car will be built on Ford’s new CD section platform in order to produce driver-focussed and dynamic performance. Mondeo will get the diesel powertrain and retractable panoramic roof for the first time.

The car will be equipped with 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine which is anticipated to produce better fuel economy. There will be a six-speed manual transmission along with a six-speed dual-clutch Powershift. The car will deliver 125bhp and 125lb ft which can be over boosted to 147lb ft. Mondeo will receive a driver focused interior which gives superior comfort design, advanced craftsmanship and quality materials to compete against its rival. It will get a wheelbase of 2850mm. The car will sport headlamps with LED low-beam, signal lighting and high-beam.

The interior of the car will feature Soft-touch materials, best finishes and enhanced equipments which will provide the best Mondeo experience ever. Mondeo will have a package of driver-focused instruments which includes twin-dials along with a great infotainment screen at the centre console. It will feature narrower A-pillars to give better forward visibility and lower boot floor to increase the luggage space. The car will be offered in two body styles namely an estate version and the five-door hatchback version.
