Windows Phone Tango: Release date set to June 2012

The next Windows Phone version, Tango will be announced at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2012 on 13th January. Windows Phone Tango is expected to be demonstrated on two phones: Nokia 710 and the 900. Tango is expected to be launched soon after the announcement at CES and bring new features such as LTE support, smaller chassis sizes and smaller resolution displays compatibility while other features are not known yet.

Soon after its official release, the update will be rolled-out to existing devices. Another major Windows release, Windows Phone Apollo will arrive at the Nokia Connection 2012 in middle of June. Windows Phone Apollo is also recognized as Windows Phone 8. It will feature dual-core processors support, NFC and high-res displays. Devices that run on Windows Phone Apollo will be accessible shortly after the release.
