Willcom WX03A: Specs of Light weight Phone Unveiled

The world’s new smallest mobile phone, WX03A has been revealed by Japanese mobile carrier Willcom. Willcom WX03A is known as strap phone. This candy-bar handset connects to another phone. WX03A comes with the PHS standard or Personal Handy-phone System that operates in the 1,880 - 1,930 MHz frequency band and provides an easier way of implementation in comparison to GSM. Dimension of this phone is W32 × H70 × D10.5mm and its weight is only 33 grams, with which it fits contentedly in your hand.

The Willcom WX03A is featured with a 1 inch OLED display, ten-key dial pad, micro-USB port, and headphone socket. Willcom WX03A also contains infrared communication for exchanging contacts and the battery that provides 300 hours of standby time and 2 hours of talk time. Infrared communication can easily do annoying phone book registration. Willcom WX03A does not contain Bluetooth, camera, memory card slot or email ability and its specs are on the low side due to its diddy dimensions.

Willcom WX03A is not QWERTY phone and contains tiny keypad so users may require a toothpick to press the buttons exactly. This device will be available in black color. It is expected that it will be launched in December in Japan. Information about its price is not revealed yet.
