Vodafone VStore India - Get 10000+ applications for Smartphones

Mobile applications are becoming very popular among the smartphone users. Taking this in consideration, VStore, mobile app store has been unveiled in India by Vodafone India. VStore contains over 10,000 free and paid applications for main mobile operating systems like Android, Java, Symbian, and BlackBerry. The range of these featured apps is from gaming and entertainment networking to social networking.

The new Vodafone mobile app store runs applications across 2G and 3G. Vodafone is optimistic to secure its place as a main supplier of cellular services to smartphone users in the nation. Vodafone subscribers have to send SMS VStore or Apps to 111 to use this service. GPRS connectivity on mobile is required to download apps. Vodafone has joined the ranks of RComm and Airtel with the launch of VStore.

VStore also contains content from suppliers such as Hungama and Spice backsides its Vodafone TV. White-label content provider, Appia powers VStore. Appia is partner of AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile. Vodafone looks to be in good hands as Appia runs mobile applications storefronts for numerous cellular suppliers and phone manufacturers across the world.
