Verizon Samsung Illusion: Specs, Price & review

Samsung Mobile has launched its new phone called ‘Samsung Illusion’. If you are searching for good features phone with affordable price, then it is mid-range Android 2.3 Gingerbread Smartphone on Verizon. The new Samsung Illusion is based on the Samsung’s earlier Hummingbird chipset.

Samsung Illusion is packed with PowerVR SGX540 graphics, 512MB RAM, 3 megapixel rear facing camera, internal capacity of 2GB (expandable up to 32GB), 3.5mm jack and microSD card slot. It is powered by 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor and packs a 3.5-inch HVGA touch screen display with 320 x 480 pixels resolution as well as Swype virtual keypad onboard. In terms of connectivity, it has Bluetooth 3.0, GPS with A-GPS, and Wi-Fi a/b/g/n. It has 3G network only. It is equipped with Li-lon 1500mAh battery which provides talk time of up to 360 minutes and standby time of up to 250 hours.

The measurements of this device are 114.4 X 59.9 X 11.7 and weighing 120 grams. The device is also capable to support the HTML web browser as well as it gives access to the Android market consisting more than 3, 00,000 apps. Samsung Illusion has matchless rounded lightweight compact design as well as integrated calendars and email. The Illusion will be available online at VerizonWireless.com with a two-year service agreement; Nationwide Talk plan (starting at $40) and a data plan (starting at $30) between November 24 and 28. It will not be available in retail stores until January 2012. The price of this device will be $79.99.
