Sony Xperia AX coming soon in Japan: Specs & Features

Sony, the multinational corporation, has announced a new variant of Xperia V named Xperia AX. The all new LTE enabled smartphone will get Japan-specific features like mobile wallet, infrared port data exchange and mobile TV. Sony has remained one of the most active mobile tech manufacturers in the past few months by unveiling three new phones such as the Xperia T, J and V. It is anticipated that Sony Xperia AX will hit the stores by early December. Pricing of this upcoming device is yet unknown.

 Specs & Features

Xperia AX will sport 4.3 inches HD Reality Display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The device will come preloaded with the Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 similar to the other Sony mobile devices. It will feature a 13 megapixel rear facing camera which will allow the users to capture 1080p HD videos. The smartphone will run on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich Operating System. Plus, the company’s signature tune tech and ClearAudio + mode will provide better clarity of voice. The device might have an 8 GB on board memory storage along with a microSD card support. The LTE power will offer faster download and upload speed.

Xperia AX will feature Near Field Communication chipset, permitting the users to share their photos, audios and videos. The device will be powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor and 1GB RAM. With the Sony media applications such as Movies Walkman and Album the users will be able to create their own world of entertainment. It will also support Wi Fi tether option that will allow sharing of internet to other devices. Connectivity features of the smartphone will include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, DLNA.
