Walkman Z1000 is going to come in 3 versions: 8 GB, 16 GB and 32 GB for $250, $280 and $320 respectively. This device will hit the US market in spring 2012. Sony Walkman Z1000 has 4.3-inch WVGA touchscreen display with 480x800 pixels resolution, 512MB of RAM and NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. It supports Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS so users are able to buy additional content and apps. It features “S-Master MX” sound processing to decrease unnecessary noise and distortion. There is also a "W" button on board for the music player app. To discover and find new music, music lovers can sign up for Music Unlimited Service of the company. They can even access to more than 10 million songs. It lets the users to watch movies and content on HDTV by using micro HDMI connection or DLNA. It comes with WiFi 802.11b/g/n, G-sensor, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, built-in mono speaker, HDMI output, digital compass, and FM radio. It has lithium ion battery which delivers 20 hrs of music and 5 hrs of video playback. The weight of this music player is 156 g and the dimensions are 134.4 × 70.9 × 11.1mm. |
