Good news for the Android lovers!! Yes, one more Android phone to be launched. Sony Ericsson is preparing to launch its new Android phone, the Sony Ericsson LT22i Nypon. It is rumored to be powered with the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. Also, the phone may be fully compatible with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It has a 4.0-inch LED-backlit LCD, capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels and a mutitouch support. It is equipped with dual cameras; a 1.3 megapixel camera with front facing and an 8 megapixel camera with rear facing. The rumored handset may be sporting a Dual Core NovaThor U8500 Chipset with more effective sound quality. It may be supporting Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, HotSpot, HDMI, NFC, DLNA, micro USB, USB 2.0 and native USB tethering. It has document viewer and is equipped with apps like Facebook, Twitter, Gmail, Gtalk, Google search, Maps and YouTube. Also, the phone may be offered as a 4G ready device that can access the web at very fast network speeds. The features of the phone appear to be quite appealing. But it would be a disappointment, if it will really be outfitted with a 1320 mAh Li-ion battery, as rumored. It has a 1GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory. The handset is expected to be available in silver and black color. Though the price of the phone is not announced yet, it is buzzed to be sold for a very decent price of around 370 Euros. There were also reports stating that the handset will be launched at the forthcoming 2012 Mobile World Congress. There is not much confirmation about the price, features and other important details of the handset, only rumors and leaks are over there. |
