Sony Ericsson Windows Phone prototype picture leaked

Back in June 2010, Sony Ericsson was said to be working on a Windows Phone named "Julie" which featured a side-sliding QWERTY keyboard, 4 inch display and a single-core 1GHz processor. The photos of that device were leaked in March 2011, but they were not so good. At present after 18 months, the two new pictures of a Sony Ericsson Windows Phone have been revealed by NokiaWP.net. But the presence of the ‘Ericsson’ branding indicates these leaked photos are quite old, the visibly labeled “prototype – not for sale” handset has presented a tantalizing insight into the range of devices that could soon pursue the Xperia S out of Sony’s recently formed committed mobile arm.

Presently, Sony is manufacturing only smart phones which run on the Android OS, but by looking at the leaked images, certainly the company is looking into making a Windows Phone. The other big companies, for example - LG, Samsung, HTC and Nokia have the newest handsets that work on Microsoft OS. The thickness of Sony Ericsson’s this handset and the horizontal line cuts the device in two parts that it is a landscape QWERTY keyboard slider. At first look, Sony Ericsson Windows phone is very convincing as it features 3 right keys in front and 4 row keyboard. NokiaWP.net stated that the device in the photo is working on Windows Phone 7.5.
