Just a few days back, a Sony smartphone codenamed Odin and bearing model number C650x, was leaked online through its User-Agent profile. Still, only little info is available on this smartphone, which is speculated to be the Sony’s next flagship device. Now, a new Sony smartphone with higher model number and impressive specs has been leaked. The model number of this new mystery device is C660X and it has been codenamed as Yuga. From the leaked specs, it seems that the Yuga smartphone will indeed be a tough competitor to all other high-end smartphones out there in the market. Image Source: gsmarena.com Recently, the Sony C660X ‘Yuga’ has made an appearance on AnTuTu's Benchmark site. Actually, the model number mentioned in the benchmark is C6603, but the last digit points out the region in which the phone is being sold. The benchmark has disclosed only little info about the smartphone in general. As per the details that are put on the benchmark site, it is expected that the mystery Yuga smartphone would run on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean Operating System. Under the hood, it will sport a 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chipset (APQ8064 & Adreno 320 graphics). With such attractive features, the ‘Yuga’ smartphone has managed to score a total of 11,321 points, which is really very impressive. Image Source: gsmarena.com The so called Sony ‘Yuga’ has also made an appearance in the NenaMark2 benchmark, which shows that the new smartphone will have a 1080p (1920 x 1080 pixels) display. The screenshots displayed at the benchmark site points out to a screen resolution of 1794 x 1080 pixels. Now, you may be wondering where the remaining 126 pixels have gone. Actually, these 126 pixels will be used for the on-screen buttons. Unfortunately, there is no info about the exact screen size of the device yet. However, on seeing the device’s support for massive amount of pixels and full HD resolution, it can be assumed that the smartphone’s display will have at least 5 inches. If the assumption of 5-inch full HD screen turns out to be true then most likely the screen will have an impressive pixel density of around 440ppi. Moreover, according to the folks at XperiaBlog, the mystery flagship device’s display will be manufactured by a recently formed company called Japan Display, which is the merger between Toshiba Mobile Display, Sony Mobile Display, and Hitachi Displays. |
