After the huge sales of Samsung GALAXY Note, almost every phone manufacturers are attracted towards the 5-inch mobile market. After Samsung, LG announced Optimus VU, then many companies like Pantech, Panasonic, Spice, Micromax, and now, Japanese electronics manufacturer Sharp is appearing to come with 5-inch mobile, SH530U in the market. Sharp SH530U has been announced by Sharp Company. This smartphone will be powered by 1 Ghz MediaTeK MTK MT 6577 dual-core processors. The chip manufacturer from China, MediaTek offers high-quality chipset with affordable price; perhaps that’s the reason behind selecting MT 6577 chipset on Sharp’s smartphone.
Sharp SH530U will contain 512 MB of RAM to offer the multi-tasking and 4GB of ROM that can be expanded with the support of micro SD card. This handset will be featured with 5.0 inch large screen with resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, 5 megapixel rear camera for video recording and 3 megapixel front-facing camera for video calling and web conferencing. This device will run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Operating System. It will also have 1,930 mAh battery. This dual card phone will contain two SIM cards in which one supports 3.5G Internet and another supports GSM quad-band communications.
Sharp SH530U will include GPS, USB, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth, HSPA, and Wi-Fi wireless Internet networking equipment. It will be able to deal with the common demands for multimedia and gaming. Sharp SH530U will be available first in Hong Kong and then in Japan in two colors like white and red. Information about the launch and the price of this handset are not disclosed yet. Expected price of Sharp SH530U will be HK $ 2,988, which is about 30,500 yen in Japan currency.
