Korean giant Samsung is going to strengthen its own mobile Operating System Bada with the launch of Wave III in the near future. However, none of the bada Smartphones coped to impress users as of Android and Windows Phone devices, Samsung may soon introduce few handsets that will be running on bada OS by September. Some time back, Samsung Russian website signifies about three upcoming Bada devices: GT-S5360, GT-S7250D and the GT-S8600. If you consider their model numbers then it is easy to imagine which OS they might be running. GT-7250D, one of this three has been exposed in the Bada 2.0 SDK and identified as the Wave 725. The rest two are yet to be identified as Bada phones. GT-S8600 in particular looks likely to be the Wave 3. To clear this mystery, we take a look at the precedent versions of the Wave. The original version of the Wave was known as the S8500. Also, the 2nd generation Wave was recognized as the S8530. By referring previous names; the GT-S8600 might be the Samsung Wave 3. Wave II was launched in December 2010 but failed to set the British phone market so it is obvious that the wave 3 will indicate a return of the OLED screen which graced the first iteration and make it to British shores. Wave III is expected to support better multimedia and graphics, also the latest version of Bada operating system as well as likely to have a dual core processor, better, and bigger screen. As further details are indefinable regarding the phone, we can only hope that Wave III will have better features to offer in the way of exclusive selling points. This wave 3 phone is also coming with the NFC chip, so with this feature will it be popular in the platform of UK? |
