While the gadget lovers are excitedly waiting for the arrival of the Galaxy Note 2 launching at the end of this month, another mysterious Samsung tab has just passed through the FCC. Any communication device to be sold in the US has to pass through the FCC. As per this FCC filing it seems that one more Samsung Galaxy tablet is being planned to launch. Recently, an FCC filing by Samsung has pointed towards a mysterious tablet listed as the ‘GT-P8110’. The accompanying sketch shows that the device has a bit different design as compared to current models. The details are very less, yet the documents reveal 16GB of internal memory, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11n and NFC connectivity. Most of the Samsung tablet lineup has a square-like form factor, but now it seems that curves are getting in as this slab features completely curved corners. It may also have a camera with flash. The less severe edges suggest it to be a large tablet. Some believe that the slab may be larger than the 10.1 inch Android custom, with 11.8 inch quoted as the probable figure. As per the FCC filing the GT-P8110 tab will be sold in both Wi-Fi only and 4G versions, however for UK, it may be the Wi-Fi only variant. |
