Samsung has been doing well with its Galaxy S line of smartphones and now there are rumors regarding the launch of a new Mini Samsung Galaxy S III. According to a German site, mobiflip, the device is anticipated to be released on October 11 at Frankfurt. Samsung is expected to rule the smartphone market in the coming years. Rumors regarding the small version of S III were out after the invitations were sent out by Samsung's German arm that featured taglines such as ‘something small will be really big’, ‘small is now a big hit’ and ‘get ready for a little sensation’.
The rumored specs state that the Mini will sport a 4 inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The device will feature a 5 megapixel rear facing camera and it is expected to be powered by a dual-core processor. It seems that the Samsung Galaxy S III Mini will run on Android's latest operating system, 4.1 Jelly Bean. The users who do not like giant screens can prefer the S III Mini and it is expected to come at a lower price. The texts on the Samsung invite suggest that the size of the upcoming device will be one of its most outstanding feature.
