Samsung is known for its revolutionary products in the market. Now, Samsung has launched a hybrid of Smartphone and tablet called ‘Samsung Galaxy Note’ in India. The Galaxy Note is available at a price tag of Rs 34,990 in India. The phone supports merged pen input technology for taking notes, drawing sketches and more which is known as S Pen, a brand-new advance organization tool from Samsung. The technology enables the users to operate phone using Smart Pen or Fingers. Samsung Galaxy Note is loaded with 5.3 inch WXGA 1280 x 800p HD Super AMOLED Display which is larger than normal Smartphones but smaller than the tablets available in the market. It is powered by 1.4 GHz dual core processor. The use of Smart Pen gives handwriting recognition in order to convert the handwritten format to digital format easily. The Galaxy Note runs on Android 2.3.5 gingerbread OS and it can be upgraded to the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The other features include Exynor chipset, Mali 400 MP graphic chip, 8MP Camera with flash (LED), 2 MP secondary for video calling, music player, 3.5 mm jack, 1 GB RAM, 2G & 3G network, and 16GB and 32GB with microSD card (Expandable up to 32GB) of memory. The device comes with Li-ion 2,500 mAh battery for extra long talk time. In terms of connectivity, it has Bluetooth 3.0, HSUPA 5.76Mbps, HSDPA 21Mbps, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, Stereo FM radio with RDS, GPS and optional NFC. Its dimensions are 146.85 x 82.95 x 9.65mm. The Samsung Galaxy Note is equipped with Samsung Kies 2.0, Samsung Apps, TouchWiz as well as Google services. The device also has document editor onboard and ChatON instant-messaging software.
