Galaxy Note, the newest smart phone designed by Samsung, is a great combo of phone and tablet. It was released in late last year and importantly, there are more than 7 million units of the Galaxy Note sold out worldwide. This incredible success made the Korean company to start work on its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 2. It is somehow unusual that other information about Galaxy Note 2 is limited and just name & released date of this upcoming device are known yet while the rest is secret!!! Samsung fans will be glad to know that Galaxy Note 2 may hit the shelves in October 2012, exactly one year after its original. It seems that the Galaxy Note II’s design will be inspired from the Galaxy S3. It will use the Exynos 5250 processor featuring a dual-core ARM-15 processor; which is better than the quaddy Exynos 4212 chip powering the Galaxy S3. It also features a 5.5-inch WSXGA+ (1680x1050) Super AMOLED display, 8-megapixel camera and 1.5GB RAM. Even, for all international units there will be a standard and by default 4G connectivity. Thus, Galaxy Note 2 not only looks similar to Galaxy S3 but also features the same technologies and services including S Beam, S Voice, NFC, SmartStay and others. |
