The improved version of Samsung Galaxy Ace has been officially unveiled by the company on 3rd January. The company named it Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus. Compared to existing Galaxy Ace, this new version has more rounded look and improved hardware & software. It will run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread O.S. with company’s Touchwiz user interface and powered by 1GHz processor (from 800MHz). It will be available in Q1 of 2012 in Latin America, Asia, Europe and Africa with a price tag of 299 Euros ($388). Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus comes with larger display (3.65 inch) compared to original (3.5 inch) with same resolution (320x480). Internal storage capacity and RAM is also more from 158MB to 3GB and from 278MB to 512MB respectively. The battery of this new Smartphone has been reduced slightly from 1,350mAh to 1,300mAh. It is equipped with same 5MP rear facing camera with auto-focus and LED flash; 3.5mm headset jack; WiFi; USB 2.0; FM Radio with RDS and Bluetooth. The improved version of Galaxy Ace comes pre-installed with Music Hub, Social Hub and Chaton messenger. It is also pre-loaded with ThinkFree app to view and edit Office documents such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel and PDFs. Initially, the company will launch it in Russia and then in Europe, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, China and Southeast CIS & Southwest Asia. |
