Samsung has official announced the launch date and price of its Samsung Droid Charge 4G LET Android Smartphone. This Samsung 4G LTE phone is designed for Verizon and will be available in the US starting from April 28th for price of $299.99 with a 2-year contract. It supports Verizon’s 4G LTE network with download speeds of 5 to 12 Mbps and upload speeds of 2 to five Mbps in 4G Mobile Broadband coverage region. This handset is powered by a 1GHz processor and runs Android 2.2 Froyo OS (and upgradeable to Android 2.3 Gingerbread) with TouchWiz UI, delivers download/upload speeds of up to 12/5Mbps, Swype virtual keyboard, Mobile Hotspot capability (up to 10 Wi-Fi-enabled devices) and Samsung Media Hub content service. |
