Motorola has wrapped off the new edition of its well-reputed smartphone RAZR, exclusively for the market in China. This latest smartphone is dubbed as RAZR V XT998 and it is featured with an entirely innovative design compared to the RAZR that is currently present in the market. The RAZR V XT998 has hit the Chinese market for sale on 15th June. This latest device from Motorola is running on Google’s latest operating system Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and is powered by a 1200-MHz dual-core processor. When it comes to the display feature, this smartphone sports 4.3-inch screen having a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. The device features an innovative front side by means of new thin, long grilles on the top and bottom with the 4.3” display sandwiched in between them. As the device is running on Android 4.0 operating system, there are no physical keys on the front-side in favor of implementing the use of the on-screen keys. Other features include 16 GB hard drive, 1024 MB RAM, a support for miroSD card slot to expand memory up to 32 GB, USB, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, built-in battery capacity of 1780 mAh, as well as GPS/GLONASS support module CDMA/GSM. The rear side of this latest RAZR smartphone sports a well-known Kevlar coating, which curve upwards near the top. At that top part of device, there is an 8-megapixel rear snapper with LED flash alongside a loudspeaker. Besides the GSM/CDMA dual-mode connectivity of RAZR V XT998, the underside of the device is identical to the existing RAZR. There is no word on the pricing of this smartphone yet. |
