Pantech, the second largest mobile manufacturer in South Korea is all set to release its new Android powered device. The gadget is rumored to debut in Asia with SK Telecom in South Korea and expected to be its first habitat. Worldwide launch is said to follow later, however, there is not any date confirmation about the phone, till the time. The new device will be high-end smartphone with a code IM-A830S. The specs of the Pantech handset have appeared on the website GLBenchmark. A database on the website has revealed some of the specs before the official announcement of the device. As per the information in the leaked snapshots, the smartphone may be equipped with a Snapdragon S4 chipset with a couple of Krait CPU cores. This smartphone may run on the latest version of the Android platform - 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. The Pantech device is expected to feature an LCD screen with a HD resolution of 1280x720 pixels. The size of the screen is not known yet. The CPU will be a dual-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8960 chip as per the leaked info page. This phone may become the first non-nexus handset without the four capacitive buttons. Also, it is expected to have a slim body. Right now, no information is available regarding other specifications like the RAM size, storage capacity and the camera.
