The Nokia N900 will be out in October and it will put on sale in select markets for around €500. Nokia N900 will come with a new touchscreen phone that it claims offers the power of a personal computer on a mobile phone. The Nokia N900, codenamed RX-51 (Roxy), is indeed a slider with a full QWERTY keyboard. The N900 "mobile computer" will feature version 5 of the Linux-based Maemo (OS) operating system, codenamed Fremantle. Nokia N900 has also high features including a WiFi, an HSPA, and 32GB of storage into a touchscreen device powered by an ARM Cortex-A8 with 1GB of RAM. Maemo 5 supports desktop-style multitasking, Nokia Messaging and a new “cloud” UI. It also brings a Mozilla-based Maemo browser with Adobe Flash 9.4 support. There is also a microSD card slot that allows you to boost storage up to 48GB and as rumored, the Nokia N900 will have a SIM card slot, a 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus, and flash; and an earspeaker, possibly for phone calls within the T-Mobile USA network.
