Nokia Asha 305, 306 and 311 coming in india

Nokia, the Finnish handset maker is all set to launch a new series of Asha handsets including 3 smartphones in India on August 9, 2012. These new smartphones are Nokia Asha 305, Asha 306 and Asha 311. These handsets will be priced below Rs. 10,000. All these handsets boast a full capacitive touchscreen display with Swipe UI and run S40 Asha operating system.

Nokia Asha 305 flaunts a 3 inch capacitive touchscreen display with 240 x 320 pixels of screen resolution and 1 GHz processor. It is a Dual-SIM handset and comes with a 2 megapixel camera and an 1110 mAh battery with up to 528 hours of standby time. On the storage side, it has 32 MB RAM, 64 MB ROM and 10 MB internal memory. It also boasts a microSD card slot that supports a memory card of up to 32 GB. A Music player app along with IM services like Google Talk, Yahoo Messenger and Windows Live Messenger have also been included in the handset. It is available with black, red and blue color options. It has been priced Rs. 4668.

Coming to the Nokia Asha 306, it has a 3 inch WQVGA capacitive touch screen display with 1 GHz processor and 2 megapixel camera. It also features an 1110 mAh battery and come pre loaded with 40 games. The price is expected to be around Rs. 4800. The Nokia Asha 311 has a 3 inch scratch resistant capacitive touch screen display with Gorilla Glass protection. It supports WiFi and 3G for fast networks. Apps like Facebook, Twitter, Nokia Maps, ’WhatsApp’ and Angry birds (15 level pre-bundled versions) have been pre-loaded on the handset. It also sports a 3.2 megapixel camera along with a 1 GHz processor. It may be available for a price of Rs. 6200.
