Nextel Motorola i867 Ferrari: Specs of Sport-like Android Smartphone

Motorola and Nextel have recently announced the availability of the Motorola i867 Ferrari in Brazil. The Motorola i867 is the latest Android(TM) powered Push To Talk smartphone that is inspired by the Ferrari 458 Italia. Motorola Mobility's iDEN technology will deliver a high performance communication to the device. The handset will have a striking red back cover that resembles the hood of the car. This phone is specially made for those car lovers who love the design, quality and concept related to a Ferrari. The company will offer an exclusive Ferrari kit along with the handset such as the leather case, vehicle charger and key ring to the buyers.

The handset might run on the Google’s Android Operating System. The device will sport a display of 3.1 inch touchscreen and a 3 megapixel camera at rear with 4X zoom. The handset comes with an integrated Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1 and corporate connectivity. In addition to that, the device will have a SWYPE technology for an easy text entry along with two microphones for clearer conversations and noise cancellation technology. It will have an internal storage of 200MB with a microSD memory slot to expand the memory up to 32 GB.

The users will have an access to relationship networks and Google Mobile™ Services such as the Google Search option, Google Maps™ with Navigation and Google Talk. Motorola i867 will offer a Nextel Email application that will enable the user to organize 10 personal and corporate email accounts. The Motorola i867 also allows the users to download more than 450,000 applications from the Google Play. The handset will be offered at the Nextel sales channel for a promotional price tag of R$1499 or R$ 799 along with a data plan.
