Motorola is teaming up with JCB to officially reveal the limited edition Motorola Defy+ JCB rugged smartphone. This Motorola durable smartphone comes with new performance features as well as the patented visco-elastic protective sleeve that makes sure this handset can stand up to anything that is thrown its path. This device is expected to change the “life proof” handset into a “work proof” model. This rugged smartphone is an IP67 certified similar to SE device. This device is a SIM-free unlocked version. Motorola Defy+ JCB rugged smartphone runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread Operating system and comes with a 1GHz single-core processor, 2 GB internal storage space, and then a microSD card slot expansion up to 32 GB. It is also featured with a 5-megapixel rear camera, walkie-talkie inspired push-to-talk functionality, and a range of JCB workplace inspired applications with a spirit level feature such as s theodolite, torch, decibel meter and recorder, calculator, unit converter, and DIY store locator. Motorola Defy+ JCB also contains 3.7-inch touch screen display on the front with Corning Gorilla Glass that makes sure this device is further defended against knocks. It also contains 802.11 b/g/n Wifi, Wireless bluetooth, along with a 3.5mm audio jack port. This device includes 1700mAh battery power that lets up to 7.1 hours of talk-time, 9.9 days of stand by.
