Motorola brought us an Android phones called the Cliq. The phone was launched from a Motorola event from San Francisco. The specs of the phone include a full sliding QWERTY keyboard, 3.1 inch HVGA touchscreen, Wi-Fi, GPS, and a 5 megapixel camera. The UI of the phone is called the MotoBLUR, a modified Android Cupcake. The UI highlights social networking, will feature live widgets that integrate Twitter, Facebook, Gmail, MySpace, Yahoo, Last.fm and more. There are comparisons to Palm’s Synergy, as Blur combines all your contacts into a single address book, but it shows you recent status updates along with photos when contacts call you. |
