Micromax A85 Dual-core Android: price and specs revealed

India’s telecommunications company, ‘Micromax’ is planning to launch the third handset of android series, “A85” with 1 GHz dual core processor and gesture control feature. The latest handset of Micromax will be powered by Android 2.2 operating system. Micromax A85 Dual-core Android will be launched later this year. It is expected to come with 5 Megapixel rear facing camera which will offer the image resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels and 0.3 megapixel VGA front-facing camera for video calling.

It will come with a 3.7 to 4 inch capacitive (480 x 800 pixel) display touchscreen which will support HSDPA and HSUPA. It is expected to come with 8GB internal memory which can be extended up to 32GB using a microSD card slot. It will become first Gingerbread Smartphone of Micromax in India. Users will also get some common features in this mobile including Geo tagging, Stereo FM radio with RDS, a 1650 mAh battery pack, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS. It is expected to come with price of Rs 15,000 to Rs 18,000.
