Micromax A110: Specs & Features of Dual Core IPS Screen Phone

Micromax, the 12th largest handset manufacturer in the world, has launched a new Smartphone named Micromax A110. The company has been lately launching quality products at affordable prices. A110 is the successor of Micromax A100 Canvas. The Canvas A100 was Micromax’s first phablet that was announced in the month of August. Recently, the company announced preorders for Micromax A110 Canvas 2 and it is available on Snapdeal for pre-booking at a small fee of Rs. 500 in India.

The device sports a huge 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. It has an In-Plane Switching (IPS) technology which will give a better touch response and viewing angle. Micromax A110 is powered by a 1GHz Dual Core processor along with 512 MB of RAM. It runs on 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. There is an 8 megapixel rear facing camera with LED flash and a 0.3 megapixel VGA front facing camera for video calling.

The device has a powerful battery of 2000 mAh that provides 5 hours talk time and 180 hours standby. Connectivity features of the device include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth 3.0, micro USB 2.0 and 3G. The phablet supports audio formats like MP3, AAC, WMA and WAV. The large screen resolution enables the users to watch the movies in formats like MP4, WMV, H.264 and H.263. It has an internal memory of 4GB along with a microSD slot to expand the memory up to 32GB.
