Lenovo, the Chinese multi-national company has launched its international version, LePhone S2 at CES 2012 in Las Vegas, USA that was already released in China. It features the hardware design “round arc” and outside case is comprised of “Nanometer Metal Technology”. The phone runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system with a unique kernel-level security system which prevents phishing, protect personal data, and control network and SMS traffic. The phone is powered by a single-core 1.4GHz processor. LePhone S2 is packed with some of the good features such as 3.8 inch WVGA display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution, 8 megapixel Camera for good quality pictures, and 720p video footage. The measurements of this device are 122mm x 60mm x 10.9mm and weighs 120g. It offers 1500 mAh battery that provides good talk time and standby time. It will be available in an 8GB internal storage version with 512MB RAM and a 16GB version with 1GB RAM. The other features of the device include Micro USB port, HDMI-out with an MHL adapter, and 3.5mm audio port. The company has not declared the release dates or pricing of Lenovo Smartphone S2 worldwide but it will be available in china very soon.
