Kodak Polaroid SC1630: Specs of 16 MP Android HD smartphone

The craze for conventional point-and-shoot camera inside the Smartphone is increasing day by day. Kodak has used its standard user interface to provide an Android powered Smartphone with high-end digital camera, named as Kodak Polaroid SC1630. It is also dubbed as Polaroid SC1630 Smart Camera. This device is designed with gorgeous & impressive exterior, and the inside specs are also impressive. The major point of attraction is its enormous 16-MP rear camera with Xenon flash, 3x optical zoom, HD video, ISO up to 3200, 36-108mm lens, shutter speeds of up to 1/1400 and F3.1-F5.6 aperture which delivers everything predictable from a digital camera. And as it is powered by Android, it surprisingly comes with all the features required to easily capture, connect and immediately share gorgeous HD digital images and video using one device weighing only 5 ounces.

When comes to other specs, it sports a 3.2-inch WVGA capacitive screen with 480 x 800 pixel resolution and the Google’s Android operating system but the version is not specified yet. Polaroid SC1630 is featured with microSIM card, tri-band 3G and quad-band GSM connectivity, up to 32GB via microSD card slot, built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and strangely a 2.5mm audio jack. You can say it is a quite thick phone as it measures 18.5mm, but if you consider it as a point-and-shoot camera, it is rather compact device. It is packed with a 1020mAh battery which is capable of providing 24 hours battery on a full charge. Polaroid SC1630 includes Android Market access too. The Kodak Polaroid SC1630 will reportedly hit the market in April with a price tag of $299. But, there is no word on the carrier that who will carry it.
