Idea Cellular has launched two entry level Android phones to promote its 3G service named 'Idea Blade' and 'Idea ID 280' in India. Both the devices are powered by Android 2.2 Froyo Operating System. Idea is not the manufacturer of these devices as both the phones are rebranded version of ZTE Blade and Huawei Ideos X1. These Smartphones are designed to target 2G customers and want to switch to 3G phone. The Idea Blade and Idea ID 280 will come with a price tag of Rs 7,992 & Rs 5,850. Idea Blade has 3.5 inch touch screen display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution and it is powered by 600MHz processor. In terms of connectivity, it offers Wi-Fi 801.11 b/g/n, USB, and Bluetooth, GPS navigator. It features 3 megapixel rear Camera, FM Radio with RDS, MP3 player 150 MB internal memory, 32 GB expandable memory, 1250 mAh Lithium ion battery and MicroSD card. Its dimensions are 116 x 56.5 x 11.8mm and weighing 130gm. With this mobile, you can enjoy 7.2 Mbps HSDPA Connectivity with 3G data transfer as well as you can watch favorite Programme through Live TV from Idea. Idea ID 280 is packed with a 2.8 inch capacitive touch screen display with resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. It has 3.2 megapixel Camera, 152 MB internal memory, 256 MB RAM, GPS navigation, and stereo FM Radio. It offers standard 1200 mAh battery which provides talk time up to 4 hours. As per connectivity option, it has 3G Connectivity, USB, and Bluetooth. It runs on 528 MHz processor. Both the Smartphones come with Opera Mini browser, and integrated social media apps.
