Huawei Vision : New Budget Smartphone with Gingerbread

Huawei has been known as the manufacturer of low to mid-range phones that especially intended more for their budget price. On Wednesday, 3rd August, Huawei has officially announced its much awaited Gingerbread-based Huawei Vision smartphone. Huawei Vision is a new budget Gingerbread smartphone as it runs on Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread but equipped with several middle-performance hardwares. The Huawei Vision features ultimately awesome aluminum uni-body frame with a range of color options including silver, gold and charcoal. This smartphone is a pretty slim, measuring just 9.9mm width. It weighs just 121 grams, which is less than a bottle of aftershave or perfume.

 New Budget Smartphone with Gingerbread

The smartphone is powered with Qualcomm’s 1Ghz Snapdragon MSM 8255 processor. It will feature a curved 3.7-inch capacitive touchpanel display, a 5.0 MP autofocus camera with LED flash that can shoot videos at resolution of 720p HD. It has 512MB of RAM and 2GB of internal memory expandable up to 32GB. The Vision will also come with Huawei’s proprietary 3D user interface, containing ‘multiple 3D panels’ on the home screen. Other features of the Huawei Vision include Bluetooth 2.1, a micro-USB 2.0 socket to boot, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, an FM radio tuner, GPS, light sensor, proximity sensor and a 1,400 mAh battery.

Huawei Vision is expected to be launched in September, preferably in the price range of Rs 10,000 ($230) – Rs 12,000 ($280). Probably, the Vision is not the most powerful Android 2.3 smartphone in market, but it offers a decent option for people who are not seeking a dual-core processor amid other fine points.
