The Chinese cell phone maker, Huawei, has partnered with the UK mobile operator O2 to launch its two ultra-budget phones. These affordable mobiles are Ascend Y 100 and the G 7105. They are the latest phones of Huawei Ascend family. They are also the first smartphones of the company with O2 UK. Both phones will hit the UK market with variety of exclusive deals. Huawei G7105 is a simple, lower-spec compact phone easy to use and easy on the pocket. It is available in the market from 11th May with a price tag of £39.99. Currently, this phone is available only in white color but later the users will also get it in pink. Huawei G7105 is a feature phone instead of a Smartphone. It weighs only 104 grams and has 12mm thickness. It comes with 2.8-inch LCD touchscreen, Bluetooth and 4GB internal storage which can be expanded with microSD card. It has 1.3MP camera with 1280 × 960 pixels picture resolution and 4x digital zoom. It includes a web browser in the form of Opera Mini, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB 2.0 connectivity. In a single charge, the battery will provide standby time of 600 hours and talk-time of 300 minutes. The multimedia player of the phone supports all main audio and video formats. The handset does not include Android, HSDPA or WiFi connectivity. This phone is perfect for the users who want cell phone only to make calls, send texts and check email. The Smartphone which was launched along with Huawei G7105 has same screen 2.8-inch display but powered by Android 2.3 OS. Ascend Y 100 is equipped with 2-megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom, Wi-Fi, access to the Google Play store and supports 3G. Ascend Y100 will be accessible from 1st June for £80 or free on contracts beginning at just £10 a month. |
