Huawei and UK mobile carrier O2 have teamed up to announce the launch of new Android smart-phone Huawei Ascend Y 100 in the UK. This neat little entry-level smart-phone will be available through O2 in UK from June with a price tag of £79.99 on PAYG or free on their £10 per month contract. It will be powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It will contain a 2.8-inch touch-screen and a 2-megapixel rear camera with 4x digital zoom that is capable of recording video at 30 frames per second and HSDPA.
